DESPERATELY Need Your HELP!
The Nesconset Fire Department (NFD) will
be hosting a bone marrow drive, for Brian Wecker, son of Christopher and
Rosemarie Hembury, on Sunday, October 18, 2009, starting at
10:00am.
Brian is a 15 year old
boy who attends Smithtown High School East and loves to draw and do graphic
designs on the computer. Brian was diagnosed with Leukemia this past August and
desperately needs a bone marrow transplant if he is going to possibly beat this
disease. Unfortunately, Brian has a rare form of bone marrow and so far, no one
on the National Bone Marrow Registry is a match.
Please stop by
the Nesconset Fire Department, located at 25 Gibbs Pond Road, on October 18th to
see if your bone marrow is compatible. All it takes is 4 quick swabs of your
