Knock Out Bullying

 Meagan Voulo and Lyndsey Kaplan are two 12th grade students at Smithtown High School East.
They are currently working on a Public Relations project focusing on
bullying awareness and character education. Throughout the school
year, they have hosted mural contests for students, taught character
education lessons at the middle and elementary schools, and hosted a
guest speaker, Mark Elliot, who spoke on Leading the Charge on Tolerance. Meagan and Lyndsey want to reach out to families that may have had personal experiences with bullying so you can give Meagan and Lyndsey more ideas for how to tackle this growing issue in the community. They would also be more than willing to do some of their character education activities with girl scouts/boy scout groups or just do a general presentation about bullying and character education.
