Summer Concert Series at the Smithtown Library Sixth Annual outdoor Family Summer Concert Series will be held on Thursday evenings on the front lawn of the Smithtown Library at 8:00 pm. In case of inclement weather, please call the Library at 265-2072 ext. 207 AFTER 3:00 pm on the date of the concert for an update. This quaint store has been declared a National Historic Landmark and is open year round. Smithtown The Caleb Smith House Rte. 25A, Smithtown Historical Society 631-265-6768 -Administered by the Smithtown Historical Society, The Caleb Smith House functions as a museum and as the Society's headquarters. This Federal-style house originally stood on Jericho Turnpike in Commack built by Caleb Smith II in 1819) and was moved to North Country Road in 1955.

| Sports Squirts Smithtown Recreation has teamed up with U.S. Sports Institute to offer a Sports Squirts Camp. This camp is for children ages 3 - 5. The program is designed to introduce young children to a variety of sports in a safe and structured environment. The sports will include Soccer, Basketball, T-Ball, Hockey, Lacrosse, Parachute and Kids choice. The camp will be held at Veterans Memorial Park on Fridays from April 23rd - June 4th. | | The Edible Garden at the NY Botanical Garden Bronx River Parkway(exit 7W) and Fordham Road, the Bronx This exhibit is now running through October 17th. It is all about how to grow and prepare great homegrown food. There are demonstations from food experts, gardens from around the world, seminars and four festival weekends. Festivals of flowers and food is on Sept. 25 and 26th and Family Harvest Festival is October 9 - October 11th. This exhibit will be open to the public as of Tuesday, January 19th. It will be running until August 2010. The exhibit is housed at the Caleb Smith House, 5 North Country Road. This exhibit is free of charge. Showing hoursare are Tuesday and Thursdays from Noon to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 - 2.
